PAP-Lab (Haiti)

Since 2018, Les Laboratoires de Port-au-Prince, a structure founded by Kettly Noël, has been able to carry out a number of projects, always having as its main axes the training, professionalization and dissemination of artists and actors in the Haitian and Caribbean choreographic sector. .

2020

2nd edition of the dance & performance biennial "Port-au-Prince Art Performance - PAPAP"

    due to the Covid-19 epidemic, guest artists from the Caribbean were unable to travel to Port-au-Prince, but PAPAP was able to collaborate on site with 3 major players in the theater sector , music and plastic art in Haiti: the 4 Chemins festival, the World Music festival and the Workshops of Mario Benjamin, Laboratoire de la Pensée was organized online on Zoom with many speakers (activist, journalist and writer Rokhaya Diallo; Haitian writer, actor and director Guy Régis Junior; director, actress and LGBT activist Gaëlle Bien-Aimé; artist-performer, choreographer and founder of PAPAP Kettly Noël) performed, in particular a show by choreographer Christiane Emmanuel at the Maison Rouge in Fort-de-France in Martinique; the platform was essentially Haitian Organization of a professional training residence for creative research and a training residence on public and specific spaces for the dancers and artists of the program Either a professional assessment of: 15 shows, 2 training laboratories, the laboratory of thought and a debate at the University of Port-au-Prince with Sterlin Ulysse Doctor in Ibero-American Studies and Vice-Dean for Research at IERAH-ISERSS of the State University of Haiti

1st edition of the dance & performance biennial "Port-au-Prince Art Performance - PAPAP"
